Take on a challenge

Together we are making a difference

Every year Black Minds Matter UK funds at least 200 Black individuals and families to receive a programme of culturally appropriate 1:1 talking therapy.

However, that is only made possible by people like YOU who recognise the urgency and need for this vital service and step up to make it happen.

Demand for our service has never been greater. This is indicative of the crisis the Black community is facing. We feel the weight of this every day.

You can help to ensure that everyone is seen and heard, at their time of crisis.

BMMUK relies solely on fundraising from people like you to keep our free 1:1, culturally-appropriate services running. We receive no government funding for our work.

Thank you for making the decision to support our community today.

Are you up for a challenge?

If you can run, run for Black Minds Matter UK

If you can cycle, cycle for Black Minds Matter UK

If you can swim, swim for Black Minds Matter UK

If you can trek and climb, do it for Black Minds Matter UK

If you can power through any endurance challenge, doing it to support Black Minds Matter UK will keep you motivated through those long hours of training, inspire your friends and family to support you, and carry you to the finish line with an enormous sense of achievement.

Visit Enthuse and follow the simple instructions. Adding your own images and reasons for supporting us will really help to personalise your page. Then share the link with everyone you know. It’s always helpful to set a fundraising target as it motivates your friends and family to support you even more.

Whatever fundraising target you set for yourself, you will be making a difference and changing lives.

£1,139 will cover the cost of taking one individual through a 10-week 1:1 therapy programme, from assessment through to therapy and then clinical monitoring and evaluation.

Good luck with your challenge
